What is N-Class? Key Facts for Anchors N-Class

N-Class (Nursery, also known as Pre-Nursery or PN class) is pre-K1 preschool education, typically enrolling children aged 2-3. N-Class is not covered by the Free Quality Kindergarten Education Scheme — regardless of whether a kindergarten participates in the free scheme, N-Class fees are always fully borne by parents.

Of Anchors Kindergarten's 5 campuses, 4 offer N-Class: Fanling, both Tai Po International Nursery campuses, and Yuen Long. The Tai Po (main) campus does not offer N-Class. Anchors' N-Class admission age requirement is age 2 or above, more flexible than the Education Bureau's K1 standard (2 years 8 months), suiting families wanting to help children adapt to school life earlier.

💡 N-Class vs K1: N-Class is transitional preschool education focused on building social skills and self-care ability; K1 onward follows Education Bureau curriculum guidelines with formal admission age requirements. See the Complete PN Class Guide for details.
