ST JAMES' SETTLEMENT CAUSEWAY BAY KINDERGARTEN

According to the Guide to the Pre-primary Curriculum of the Education Bureau, we integrate the curriculum based on our school and design courses focusing on theme-based teaching, project-based learning and whole-language teaching. It also incorporates the five frameworks of positive education, including: Stay Curious, Build Strengths, Embrace Challenges, Practice Kindness, and Engage.To cultivate children's good character, enhance their affective and social development, and enable them to understand their own emotions and build up their self-image, in the hope that they will recognize their personal values, correct attitudes in dealing with others, and the skills they need. We will follow the “Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide” (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
