What is the Scheme?
The Free Quality Kindergarten Education Scheme was introduced in the 2017/18 school year. The Government provides direct subsidy to kindergartens joining the Scheme to help reduce school fees for parents.

- •Child must be a Hong Kong resident
- •Aged 2 years 8 months to 6 years
- •Attending a kindergarten participating in the Scheme
- •Half-day programme students are fully subsidized
- •Whole-day programme students receive higher subsidy

How to Apply
Parents can apply directly to kindergartens participating in the Scheme. Registration typically opens around September to November each year for admission in the following school year.
