🎯 Teaching Approach
Biliteracy and trilingual teaching, diversified game activities creating a high-quality teaching environment, encouraging children to ''learn through play'' to support their growth.
🤝 Student Support
To create an interesting language environment and design diversified learning activities to guide children to learn variety of extracurricular and in-class knowledge in daily life. Through games, students are trained to solve problems and help each other. Organizing different activities inside and outside of the school help students to get along with others and communicate with each other and build their knowledge.
👨👩👧 Parent Activities
Organize meetings with parents, class observations for parents , school trips, local tours and visits, parent volunteering activities and various competitions. Also communicate with parents through handbooks, contact brochures and telephone calls are held.
💝 Special Support
Appoint additional teaching staff / teaching assistants to support NCS students learning Chinese; arrange interpretation/translation services; engage NCS parent volunteers to enhance communication between school and parents; create an enriched language environment for mastery of the Chinese language; create an inclusive learning environment to facilitate students' integration; facilitate professional development for teachers to develop effective strategies to help NCS students learn Chinese; participate in school-based professional support programmes organised by EDB.
