📚 Curriculum
Our trilingual curriculum follows the inquiry-based learning, including the VEO Language and Literacy Programme, as well as Maker-Centered Learning initiative by Project Zero of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Our programme strives for whole child development through hands-on activities in a wide variety of learning areas.
🎯 Teaching Approach
We are a trilingual school. Children can learn and apply Cantonese, Putonghua and English in a balanced manner within a natural language environment and atmosphere through daily interactions. In doing so, we aim to equip our learners with good language and communication skills. Within the school year, we use different transdisciplinary themes to cultivate children's ability to understand themselves and the people and things around them from multiple perspectives. We make good use of a range of learning areas in the school, as well as resources in the community, to enrich and integrate children's learning so that they can further develop in-depth exploration and application of what is learned in practice.
🤝 Student Support
At the start of the school year, we will establish an adaptive programme to allow our children to adapt to school life. We will regularly hold parent meetings, seminars, Student Led Conferences etc. Through these, we will provide different opportunities and platforms for parents and teachers to communicate, understand and support children's learning progress and development.
👨👩👧 Parent Activities
We implement a Parental Participation Scheme, where parents volunteer to assist in daily school life. Parents read stories, share about their professions, and join our group activities and school trips. We hold parent-teacher conferences, school picnics, sports days, etc. to strengthen communication and collaboration with parents. The Parents Teachers Association regularly hold workshops, parent-child outings and overseas trips, letting parents build a mutual support network and a sharing community.
