📚 Curriculum

Local

The interesting theme-based curriculum have created a rich learning environment, combined with the cultivation of morality, science, art, music and physical fitness Diversified interest classes, such as: Dancing Class, Little Artist, Taekwondo, Roller Skating, Cambridge English, Violin or Viola Class, etc. We will follow the “Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide” (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.

The curriculum combines different themes with game-based teaching and design activity methods 1.Theme-based storybook teaching to create a rich language learning environment -The spiral-based curriculum and One minute sharing 2.Creating an English environment integrated into daily life -Two experienced native English teachers -Regular English events (Colourful Day, Race Day, and Show & Tell Day) 3.Strengthening Putonghua learning -Through stories, life scenarios, vocabularies and nursery rhymes -K3 learn simple pinyin 4.Japanese teacher, Japanese-style game-based Learning 5.Science to unleash potential and build a broad perspective -Emphasizes STEAM Education with innovative ideas and integrates different subjects 6.Cultivating children's character, fostering a caring culture

🤝 Student Support

New Adaption Period for New Students and NCS Students, Primary Adaption curriculum and talks. Chinese class for NCS students or cooperation with different association in the community

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent Activities

Our hold regular Parent-Teacher Association meetings, set up a Parent-Volunteers team,develop a Parent Resource Corner and organize activities with the Parent-Teacher Association, such as Parent-Child Game Days etc.

Received Grant for Support to NCS Students; appoint additional teaching staff / teaching assistants to support NCS students learning Chinese; arrange interpretation/translation services; engage NCS parent volunteers to enhance communication between school and parents; create an enriched language environment for mastery of the Chinese language; create an inclusive learning environment to facilitate students' integration; collaborate with non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to create an inclusive learning environment; facilitate professional development for teachers to develop effective strategies to help NCS students learn Chinese; participate in school-based professional support programmes organised by EDB; Establish a uniform team 1.
