📚 Curriculum

Local

Our teaching team independently designs the school-based curriculum and develops teaching materials, employing interactive methods such as games. Each learning theme incorporates stories or picture books to enhance students' enjoyment of learning. We place a high value on language education and are dedicated to cultivating students proficient in Chinese and English. Each class is overseen by a native English-speaking teacher and a Cantonese-speaking teacher, and Putonghua is taught by native Mandarin-speaking teachers. Our curriculum also includes music and art courses that blend Chinese and Western cultures, broadening students' horizons and encouraging creativity. Additionally, we teach students self-care skills and positive social interactions. Character development is a cornerstone of our school's mission. We are committed to instilling positive values in our students, and we do this through our dedicated religious and moral education classes. Our aim is to develop good character in our students, allowing them to experience the love of Christ and understand the truth. This commitment to character education sets us apart and ensures that our students receive a holistic education.

🎯 Teaching Approach

We emphasize exploratory and experiential learning by designing various activities inside and outside the classroom, encouraging students to use their hands and minds to perceive natural phenomena and explore the relationships between different things, thus inspiring their curiosity. In the classroom, we set up diverse interest corners with games themed around everyday life, helping students understand various life concepts and enhancing their problem-solving skills. We arrange science experiments, invite professionals to give lectures at the kindergarten and lead students on visits to museums and community facilities. Additionally, we implement weekly Chinese and English reading and recitation programs, where teachers engage in one-on-one reading sessions with students to enhance their language sensitivity and foster a love for languages.

🤝 Student Support

Our school arranges an orientation week for new students to help them acclimate to campus life. Additionally, we conduct simulated primary school activities for senior kindergarten students. Faculty from both the kindergarten and our primary section regularly hold meetings to assist students in transitioning to primary school life.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent Activities

A close collaboration between home and school is established by organizing parent seminars, parent-child excursions, parent-child activities, and parent-teacher gatherings. Chinese and English teachers maintain regular direct communication with parents through various channels, such as telephone calls, electronic platforms, class meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and classroom observations by parents, to understand and address the needs of both students and parents.

💝 Special Support

NCS Student Support

Create an enriched language environment for mastery of the Chinese language; Each class has a English-speaking teacher to assist non-Chinese speaking students in their learning.

SEN Support

Joining the On-site Pre-school Rehabilitation Services. Students with special needs can receive support and training from a multidisciplinary team through on-campus preschool SEN support services.
