🎯 Teaching Approach

Our school adopts project approach and thematic approach in our curriculum, with a focus on connecting children's learning to real-life experiences. Regular daily news-sharing time, as well as activities such as field trips, expert interviews, on-site investigations, and parent-child activities to expand the children's horizons, enabling them to become responsible and caring citizens. We value children’s creativity and artistic development – despite literary and arts activities every afternoon, children’s art exhibitions and creative drama shows are held annually. We also encourage children’s learning through play-free play sessions are scheduled every day, with different constructive materials complimenting the element of exploration, which facilitate children’s problem-solving skills, as they learn to discuss, express, they will demonstrate qualities of perseverance and acceptance. Children will learn to construct play environments, develop creativity and imagination, thus enhancing their intellectual, social, moral, emotional and physical development. Mathematics and natural sciences are also indispensable scopes of early childhood education. STEM learning activities are gradually taking place in our school, to strengthen children’s spirit of exploration. Through a great variety of activities, children will establish an understanding towards the relationship between life and technology, creativity and problem-solving skills of children will as well be fostered. Starting from the academic year 2023-2024, the school has placed Montessori teaching methods into the curriculum. This aims to optimize the mathematics curriculum for children aged two to six and implement sensory teaching. Children regularly enter the classroom to promote active exploration and develop their independence, concentration, and problem-solving abilities.
