📚 Curriculum
The curriculum is collaboratively planned and developed by a multi-disciplinary team involving experienced teachers, as well as professionals such as educational psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapist. The curriculum prioritizes the interests and development of children, placing child-centredness and a school-based approach at its core.It provides children with a balanced, comprehensive, and spiraling learning activities. The curriculum emphasizes the individuality, autonomy and spontaneity of children, encouraging them to learn through play and develop their learning abilities. We will follow the “Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide” (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
🎯 Teaching Approach
The whole language approach is employed to foster children’s language development and reading habits through using real-life situations. We help children to achieve all-rounded development, and cultivate their initiatives and independence in learning. Empowering children in self-directed learning can be achieved through thematic stories, project work, free play, self-care activities and outdoor activities. According to the children's different abilities and development needs, the school-based curriculum is implemented to encourage children to explore, learn and gain more diverse experiences in a multi-faceted learning environment, balanced and inspiring activities.
