📚 Curriculum
Our school adopts the theoretical framework of ''Child-centeredness'' and ''Constructivist Learning'' in the development of the curriculum. The content includes six major learning domains and covers the development of children's multiple intelligences. Additionally, we offer a ''Bilingual (English and Cantonese) Program'' to provide a rich language environment for children to enhance their listening, speaking, and exposure to English. Through diverse and enriching language environments and learning experiences, we aim to encourage children to learn and think from multiple perspectives and dimensions, promote the integration of knowledge across different learning domains, and achieve the most effective learning outcomes. We will follow the “Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide” (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
🎯 Teaching Approach
Our school adopts activity-based teaching approach, using picture books to introduce themes and incorporating teaching strategies. We comprehensively promote the use of picture books as a teaching tool, with a focus on whole-language instruction, allowing children to learn language in a contextualized and life-oriented manner, fostering a reading culture. We have native English-speaking teachers and professional Mandarin teachers who engage in interesting language activities with the children. To enrich children's life experiences, we provide holistic learning at all levels, allowing children to go beyond the classroom and explore the world through the community environment and the people and objects around them, broadening their horizons, as well as to cultivate children's noble character and positive values through moral education.
🤝 Student Support
Our School provides adaptation programs and parent-student orientation sessions to facilitate the smooth transition of new students, as well as kindergarten-primary transitional classes and parent-child activity days. Furthermore, we collaborate with a range of organizations and offer parents and students valuable support and resources.
